KJ Rose is a Grammy Award Winning Artist Development and Performance Expert, known as the “Talent Whisperer,” and who has recently done a phenomenal job with Lil Nas X’s career. Besides Lil Nas X, she has worked with: Billy Ray Cyrus (Country Singer/Songwriter), Lumineers (Rock band), 6lack (Singer/Interscope), Lala Milan (BET Boomerang), Jackie Cruz (NBC's Good Girls), Indiana Massara (Australian singer), Scarlet Spencer (#BlackAF) , RJ Walker (BET Boomerang), Daria Johns (Mixed-Ish), Zoe Upkins (The Voice), and many more. As well as worked with cast on TV shows: Chasing Destiny with Kelly Rowland and Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian.
She has spent over 15 years in the music industry performing with P. Diddy, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and several other stars while navigating Corporate America as a professional at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, J Records (for Clive Davis), Sundance TV and IFC. The culmination of these experiences shaped KJ's fervor for pushing performers, actors, singers, executives and artists of all disciplines beyond their perceived capacity. She released her very first book “The Rose Effect: 8 Steps To Delivering the Performance of Your Life” Monday, 4/20 on Amazon. She speaks a lot about entrepreneurship, self-care/love, and Hip-Hop as a former artist herself from singing background vocals for Mase, Heavy D, Biggie and many more, to helping the careers of todays' artists with their overall performance game.
The purpose of this performance guide is to help you occupy your space in every room and on every stage. KJ’s signature identifiable force is her “immeasurable energy,” and her goal is to help you identify yours. The Rose Effect provides anecdotal stories of KJ’s journey that uncover layers of her own vulnerability. The hope is that this book provides you the tools necessary in reconciling your internal narrative so that the external expression is explicitly and beautifully truthful.
