Better World Fund Hosts Powerful Sustainability Focused Events with Sharon Stone for Cannes 2022
Global Speakers and Filmmakers Joined Forces to Raise Awareness about Food, Health and Sustainability at the Cannes Film Festival 2022 during a special event organized by The president and founder of Better World Fund, Mr. Manuel Collas de la Roche’s.
Star-studded Better World Gala| Cannes Film Festival 2022
After a magnificent Cannes sunset, stars appear above the famed Croisette illuminating the Better World Fund’s illustrious Black-Tie Gala dinner that took place at the JW Marriott, with the humbling presence of Her Excellency the First Lady of Cote d’Ivoire, Madame Dominique Ouattara, the Princess Ghida Talal, and world famous actress Sharon Stone as well as Amruta Fadnavis, Kiera Chaplin and actress Rossy De Palma. Journalist Ekaterina Shevliakova attended the event for Cultured Focus Magazine.

Daniel ALHAIBY, an outstanding flutist and composer with unique skills, breathtaking style and the ability of awakening people’s emotions, taking the world of love and passion through his music, has performed the ‘Ave Maria - Caccini’ launching our gala dinner with a moment of love, peace and prayer on behalf of all the Ukrainian kids and families suffering from the war. Patrycja PIEKUTOWSKA, the talented violinist-soloist, CEO of the Virtuosa Foundation which is renovating and turning into magic children hospitals in Poland. NAIAN and his singularly special voice connected with the emotions and souls of the audience. He is a true artist whose musical universe is full of sensations and deep passion. Arnault FRACHET who made us feel alive with his music from classical to contemporary, and modern jazz. Franck GRANDPRÉ a renowned pianist who played a fusion between explosive creativity and the excellence of classical tradition.
The event featured an exciting Live Auction, chaired by Sharon Stone to benefit the Virtuosa Foundation for a current project to expand and improve the Children’s Memorial Health Institute in Warsaw, Poland. The renovated hospital will accommodate the enormous increase in patients, many of whom are refugee children from Ukraine.
An Awards ceremony also had place during the Gala Dinner, a total of five awards were presented to honor individuals who are making meaningful changes and positively impacting the world and transforming our agriculture and food systems.
