Music Artist King Joel is Dominating the Mash-up between Hip-Hop, R&B, and Afro-beats
King Joel is an international recording artist and businessman in the music industry who has dominated the fusion of afrobeats, hip-hop, and R&B. King Joel, an Atlanta resident and native of Lagos, Nigeria, has found a way to use his work in the music business to transform his suffering into power. He describes afro-beats with a strong foundation in jazz, and utilizing the drum to find its rhythm and message.

In a recent interview, King Joel said the goal of the video concept was to produce something suitable for a song with two male artists. I was communicating with a woman I was attempting to win back. Davido had a woman behind him, indicating that he had experienced something similar "in the past" or that a woman was behind him. The black and white images served as a nod to older forms of entertainment. Together, the energies represented both the present and the future. Together, two powerful forces are moving forward.
You can also find the luxury living lifestyle as a consistent motif in his work, whether its colorful wardrobe invoking royalty, or exotic locations and households, even to the title of his name. Joel wants to be aspirational as well as entertaining.
Founding Elision Records in 2014, the label is home to such artists as Marzdahippy, Espnique, ScottyValid and Tobesff. The record label has produced dozens of hit singles, EP’s and music projects; as well as music videos. Elision looks to go into the short film world within the next year. The goal continuously has been to reinvest back into the Nigerian communities that have given him so much, and to make a difference in people’s lives.
