UAE Makes History With First Space Mission

Making an historic achievement on Wednesday September 25, 2019, Hazzaa Al Mansoori became the first Emirati astronaut to go into space. Blasting off just before 6pm from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, Al Mansoori and his cosmonauts colleague journeyed to the International Space Station (ISS) for a mission that will last eight days, returning to earth on October 3.
