Cultured Focus Presents 'Voices of Hope': New Music With Damiyr Shuford

One of the highly anticipated new music album releases of the year comes from Damiyr Shuford.

Damiyr Shuford is an actor, singer, songwriter from Brooklyn, New York represented by the Carson Kolker Agency. Starting off in the musical theater world and then branching out into theater and Shakespeare, he discovered his love and appreciation for Film and TV acting. He debuted in his first TV appearance as boxer "Tank" Jefferson on Law & Order Criminal Intent beside Michael B. Jordan, which helped to further catapult his success. After several years in the industry, and numerous productions under his belt, Damiyr made the decisions to go study at The William Esper Studio in New York City in order to increase his ability to tell a story effectively and with authenticity. He graduated in 2018 and has never looked back.

The crooner has gone from performing on New York City platforms in the subway to singing in front of top music industry players, and participating in Season 14 of America's Got Talent. The soft spoken, charismatic artist is currently recording his sophomore album.
