Dionne Warwick Discusses DWUETS, Her New Fragrance,
Carnegie Hall Benefit, and Enduring Legacy
Cultured Focus Magazine sat down for an EXCLUSIVE interview with legendary Grammy Award-winning singer and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Dionne Warwick. Throughout six decades, Dionne has sold over 100 million records, from “Walk on By,” “I Say A Little Prayer” to “That’s What Friends Are For,” as well as been a pop culture and social media icon. Dionne spoke to us about her new and final upcoming album, her upcoming benefit concert, her iconic fragrance perfume, the music industry and some of her happiest memories.
A Lifetime of Music and Joy
“I am always me and everything about me is always me,” she said. “I look at the audiences and their smiles and when they start singing with me it has been my joy. I have been able to bring some fun and be able to give them music that they can understand.”
DWUETS: Dionne Warwick’s Final Album
Dionne’s final album “DWUETS” is scheduled to be released sometime in October. Produced by her son/manager Damon Elliott, it features duets written by 17-time Oscar nominee and Special Oscar recipient Diane Warren. The album also features collaborations with Cynthia Erivo, John Legend, pop/R&B artist Mya, hip hop’s Saweetie, internationally acclaimed violinist Miri Ben-Ari and world-renowned sound healer Ana Netanel. Dionne shared that the name of the album was inspired by the letters D and W in both Dionne and Diana’s names.
Reviving the Dionne Signature Fragrance
One of the projects that Dionne is most excited about is reintroducing her signature fragrance line Dionne. The fragrance features floral and vanilla notes and it will be available via Dionne’s fan club website as well as online retailers. Potential “pop-up” opportunities at select brick-and-mortar retail are also in the works.
“Outside of my music, I enjoy taking on entrepreneurial endeavors,” she said. “The perfume is one that I’m happy to offer, years after it was first introduced. I hope buyers will love the fragrance as much as I loved creating it.”
Dionne Warwick at Carnegie Hall for Voices for ALS
Dionne also talked about her upcoming benefit concert on Oct. 11 at New York City’s Carnegie Hall. She will be a featured guest at the Voices for ALS benefit, “Deborah Silver & Fabulous Friends.” Proceeds from the event will support ALS research, known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Hosted by top jazz vocalist Deborah Silver, the concert will feature Dionne along with Grammy winning artist Jon Secada and his daughter, Broadway vocalist Mikaela Secada, as well as song stylist, Stella Cole. Honored at the 2026 Angel Ball
In addition, Dionne will be honored at the 2026 Angel Ball, the fundraiser benefiting Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. The ball, hosted by songwriter Denise Rich, will be held on Oct. 19 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. The annual event is in memory of Denise’s daughter, Gabrielle Rich Aouad, who died at the age of 27 from acute myelogenous leukemia (AML).
Despite all her entrepreneurship endeavors, Dionne loves her music the most. “I will always be known for my music and also for the positive things that come out from my music and that has an enormous meaning for me. It’s very easy to inspire people,” she said.
The Enduring Meaning of Her Music
Dionne shares that although it is “time to say goodbye” after 66 years, she will always be there for her fans. “The love you have given me, I hope I give it back,” she said. “It’s been my joy to bring joy to you. Thank you for the years they have allowed me to be a part of their lives. I hope the joy they have experienced with me will remain for the rest of their lives.”
