The New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival took place at the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City Labor Day weekend September 3–5th 2021. Attendees who are major fans of pop culture and horror joined vendors, cosplayers, and celebrities for meet and greets, photo ops, a film festival, panels, horror shopping, and fun!

The New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival Horror convention goal is for fans to see amazing Horror films in the indie scene and also an opportunity to mingle with big names in horror. Horror fans also participate in Q&A sessions, see the amazing vendors from around the Horror scene and watch the best indie films around. NJ Horror Con’s Founder Ryan Scott Weber and the NJ Horror Con team presented a safe pandemic environment and thrills for the horror and pop culture community.

The New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival was an idea by Ryan many years ago after experiencing Horror Cons and Film Festivals. Weber wanted to put his own spin on it. The New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival team is made up of professionals in the Horror field and past convention creators. The New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival is an annual gathering of professionals in the horror industry, actors, artists, filmmakers, dealers, and, of course, horror fans.

NJHC serves as both an industry insider’s networking event and a chance for fans of the genre to get together, meet some of the creative talents in the field, and generally spend a weekend celebrating all things scary. “We want to create a unique experience for everyone who walks through the door”. –Weber says. It’s a “True State of Horror” at the New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival!

Celebrities that were in attendance included Tom Arnold (Nine Months), Billy Zane (Tales From The Crypt Demon Knight), Lisa Zane (Freddy’s Dead), John O’Hurley (Seinfeld), Miko Hughes (Pet Sematary), Sean Patrick Flanery (Saw 3D), Robert Mukes (House Of 1000 Corpses), Danielle Bisutti (Curse Of Chucky), both Leatherface’s Bob Elmore & Andrew Bryniarski (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Amelia Kinkade (Night of The Demons), Jill Whitlow (Night of The Creeps), Paul T. Taylor (Hellraiser: Judgement), David Howard Thornton (Terrifier), Keith Coogan & Joanna Cassidy (Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead), Ke Huy Quan & Kerri Green (The Goonies), Barbie Chula NYC, Father Evil, Neil Cohen, and many many more.

Celebrities panels and Q&A’s were hosted by celebrity host/moderator Chris Stiles. LaKisa Renee and Tammy Reese of Cultured Focus Magazine covered the star-studded horror event and were judges in the NJ Horror Con and Film Festival Cosplay Contest.
