Oxblood Zebra: Redefining Fashion at The Emerge! Fashion Runway Show NYFW SS/24

The Emerge! Fashion Runway & Awards Show is known as the top emerging designer collective during NYFW. While most fashion shows focus on the major fashion brands, Emerge provides a platform for global emerging designers to showcase their collections and make their mark in the fashion industry. Emerge also honors fashions top pioneers and trailblazers, this years honorees included Dapper Dan, April Walker and Sergio Hudson. One of this season's featured emerging designers that caught everyone's attention was on Reuben Shaw, Designer & Founder of Oxblood Zebra.


Oxblood Zebra is a creative tailoring brand specializing in custom garments for men and women including custom suits, overcoats, shirts, footwear and leather goods. Rueben uses traditional tailoring methods found in bespoke to make modern and sleek designs. The brand's name itself is a testament to its uniqueness, combining contrasting elements to create something truly extraordinary. Rueben believes that clothing should be fun, give you confidence and tell a story through style and fashion. In addition to designing custom garments, Oxblood serves the NYC/NJ Metropolitan area offering personal styling services, wardrobe planning and closet organization. Out of state travel is available as well.


Oxblood Zebra presented a collection that was a perfect blend of class and style. The models graced the runway in unconventional patterns and innovate designs that exuded confidence and individuality. From oversized kimonos jackets, to floral & pinstriped suits and blazers with vibrant prints, each piece showcased the brand's creativity.

One of the standout pieces from the collection was a black & white African/Zebra print kimono jacket that featured a mix of both patterns. The piece was a perfect representation of Oxblood Zebra's aesthetic. It caught the attention of fashion enthusiasts and industry insiders alike. The entire collection was a testament to the brand's ability to seamlessly blend art with high fashion, creating eye-catching pieces. As the show came to an end, Oxblood Zebra received a standing ovation from the audience, solidifying its place as one of the most exciting emerging brands in the industry. As the brand continues to grow and evolve, it is poised to make a lasting impact on the world of fashion.
