Gucci Garden Opens in Florence

The fashion house recently opened Gucci Garden, in Florence, Italy on the premises of the Gucci Museum, that has served as a shrine to its history from Gucci’s beginnings in 1921.

Conceived by creative director Alessandro Michele, Gucci Garden is a creative space where fashion accessories, art and fine dining co-exist.

The concept of a bazaar-like retail space which features one-of-a-kind pieces designed exclusively for Gucci Garden, wants to replicate ancient Florence as a hub of activity–where markets, restaurants and shops lined the Palazzo where the 'Garden' is now based.

The Gucci Osteria, an intimate (50-seat) restaurant helmed by three-Michelin-star chef Massimo Bottura, serves iconic Italian dishes as well as contemporary twists on classics for all-day dining.
