Go Nova's Official Debut at Bowery Electric Featuring the World Radio Premiere of “Personality Crisis”
If you’re craving real rock ’n’ roll—steeped in the sweat, swagger, and soul of the ’60s British Invasion—then circle July 30th, 2025 on your calendar and make your way to The Bowery Electric. GO NOVA, New York’s hottest new power trio, is about to detonate onstage for their official debut, and the city won’t know what hit it.
A Riot of Rock Heritages
Think The Yardbirds meets Led Zeppelin, amped up with the razor-sharp energy of The Hives and Wolfmother. GO NOVA is a fierce collision of Liverpool grit, Tokyo cool, and Singaporean groove, served up by three musicians who eat classic rock for breakfast and spit out something entirely their own. Frontman Tommy (a Liverpudlian songwriter and John Lennon tribute artist) leads the charge with guitar licks and lyrics that slice through everything from global corruption to heartbreak. He’s backed by Tomi, NYC’s Japanese-born, British glamour-obsessed drummer and cult horror actress, and Joany, the powerhouse bassist from Singapore (and Lez Zeppelin) whose rhythm could level skyscrapers.
From Secret LES Sets to Bowery Blowout
After a sizzling, word-of-mouth debut on the Lower East Side, GO NOVA is stepping into the spotlight with their first official show on Wednesday, July 30th at The Bowery Electric. Expect a hurricane of classic riffs, garage punk energy, and a rhythm section that could wake the dead. The show will kick off at 8 PM (doors at 7pm), and is already shaping up to be one of the summer’s most talked-about gigs.
First Listen: “Personality Crisis”
GO NOVA isn’t just bringing the live heat, They are dropping a sonic bomb with the world radio premiere of their debut single, “Personality Crisis.” Recorded at NYC’s Ice Plant and finished at Liverpool’s legendary Motor Museum, this track is a raucous preview of their upcoming EP and US tour this fall. Want a sneak peek? The single is already in the wild, thanks to an exclusive premiere on WFMU. Trust us, your ears will thank you.
Tommy Goes Acoustic Ahead of the Storm
Can’t wait until Wednesday? Lead singer Tommy will be in town early for a special solo/acoustic performance at Catalyst Records (Monday, July 28th at 5 PM), offering a stripped-back taste of what’s to come. It’s the calm before the GO NOVA storm—don’t miss it.

Built for the Stage, Built for the City
GO NOVA is unapologetically loud, stylish, and built for stages both big and sweaty. They channel the spirit of The Yardbirds, The Clash, and Led Zeppelin through a modern lens that nods to Jack White, Rival Sons, and The Hives. They’re a band that could only have been born in New York, but one that’s destined to travel far beyond.
