The Secret Between Us, a new film executive produced by R&B legend Keith Sweat and starring Michael Jai White and Lisa Arrindell, will open in select theaters on Friday, April 3, 2026 in time for Easter weekend. The film is presented by Hidden Gem Entertainment in association with KDS Entertainment and Jaigantic Studios.
The story centers on Jack, a man known for his honesty and strong family values. His world begins to fall apart when a son from a past affair suddenly reappears. As he faces the consequences of his decisions, Jack must find a way to rebuild trust with his family. His estranged son, Torrance, also hides painful secrets of his own, forcing both men to confront their past and search for a path toward forgiveness.
The film explores the complexity of family bonds, how people deal with secrets, and what it means to seek redemption. It looks closely at how honesty and compassion can mend broken relationships once believed beyond repair.
Michael Jai White and Lisa Arrindell lead a talented cast that includes Victoria Rowell, Karen Abercrombie, Tre Ryan, Denzell Dandridge, Dominique Wilson, Destinee Monét, and Reggie Currelley.
“The Secret Between Us” is written and directed by Tamera Hill, who also produced the film through her company, Hidden Gem Entertainment. Hill is best known for the Netflix feature Never Heard. Her films often focus on real-life challenges and emotional truths that connect with audiences across generations.
